What's To Love

Budget-friendly, well-equipped accommodation ideally located in the old town

Calm Setting

Despite the old town being a vibrant and bustling area, this studio is situated on a quiet street next to a church, with no noisy bars or nightclubs nearby

Safe Environment

Being part of an old, small worker's cottage, the studio has an intimate atmosphere, offering a quiet and peaceful environment with only three other apartments beyond its doorway.

Iconic Address

The street is in one of the oldest parts of the old town, and has has been painted many times including the image shown here by the French painter Jacques Guiaud around 1840. The famous tavern, "la Treille", which means "vine", is 50m further down, was the site for the meetings of the defenders of the traditions and language of Nice. The street has also been used as a film setting many times including in "Le Sac des Billes" (The Bag of Marbles) in 2017.

Modern Facilities

The shower room has been updated with modern fixtures, including a new shower, sink, and WC, while the kitchen is fully equipped with brand-new appliances

Budget-Friendly

For those seeking budget-friendly accommodation, this option offers an excellent location and amenities, with the trade-off being its small size. Unlike many other lower-cost alternatives, this studio is not on a high floor with just 35 steps to reach it.

Private

The studio faces and is shielded by church walls, ensuring complete privacy without concerns about neighbors looking in, which is a common issue in the narrow streets of old Nice

Please Note Before Booking

Please note that, although there are only around 33 steps to the studio from the street, the staircase is typical for a traditional workers cottage in Nice Old Town. The first 20 stairs are very steep and narrow. For this reason, the studio is not suitable for travellers with large baggage, and in this case we would recommend using Nanny Bag.

This is a small studio which is suited to singles or couples and is not ideal for older, larger or unfit guests

The streets of the old town are hosed down every night and the workers start around 3am.

Our apartment is next to the church and you can hear the bells on the hour from 7am to 7pm.
